I'm a proud Occupational Therapy student :)

I know I have more requirements and errands to do but I just want to rest and write a blog. One of the things that's making me busy nowadays is this case study I have to work into:

Long-term Effects of Hippotherapy on One Child with Cerebral Palsy: A Research Case Study
British Journal of Occupational Therapy August 2012

As I go through the text of this journal, the experience of riding a horse excites me inside. HAHAHA Btw, "hippo" is a Greek word for horse. So technically you use the horse for therapy. I've heard different techniques that OT use for their intervention in different cases but this was the first time I encountered this. Maybe because we don't practice them here. But I really find this cool :) Using natural creations to help those who are in need. =)) Horse for CP patients is definitely effective and for sure the kids will love their interaction with this animal :) It'll also give them a different yet one of a kind experience.

When I knew about the Aquatherapy where you swim with the kids having this particular session, it sounds awesome! Since I'm a water-lover person. HAHAHA I can marry the water actually :P I get excited to practice them on my internship in the next one year and a half :) But today, as I've read this journal seems like I want to learn how to ride the horse. HAHAHA not just for my pleasure of riding them but also I want to use this as my intervention in the future! I will buy a ranch and have lots of trained lovely ponies who can help me as an OT :) They'll for sure love the kids riding on them :)))

I really want to lose weight. HAHA I want that abs and slender legs.
From 121lbs, I am now 105 lbs. How did I do it?

Every morning, I make sure to drink 2 glasses for water. Then have my 30-minute jog. I'm not really on jogging outside. You can actually do it while watching TV. Go around your house. Use the stairs. Just make sure you don't stop in that 30-minute workout. You can slow down but do not stop :) Don't forget to keep yourself hydrated! After jogging, either I eat breakfast or take a bath to feel fresh.

When I eat, I drink 2 glasses of not-so-cold water before the meal. It makes you feel half-full :) Since I live here in the Philippines, rice is really a part our food. So I cut the carbs. I measure the rice I take in. I only eat 3 tablespoons of rice plus the viand. Though I can't do this when we eat outside but at least I can control :) After eating I'll drink 2 glasses of water again :)

They said when you're on a diet, you must have your "cheat day" where you eat everything you want. Yes I have mine, every Saturday. 'Cause we usually go out. hihihi. But as I go on with my "diet" I easily feel full and I really eat less. Maybe because my tummy is already used of that amount of food.

But the most effective advice I can give is BE DISCIPLINE. If you want to have a healthy lifestyle, eat what your body needs not what your body wants. Take your vitamins everyday. It also helps your skin to look young. Avoid soft drinks and junk foods, that's why they are called "junk" you actually don't need them. And don't forget to be optimistic and smile whenever you can =)))

So I list down the foods I ate for the past days(not complete). It's actually more on monitoring. HAHAHA I ate a lot this school break. haha :D You should not follow everything :)

Thirty things to stop doing to yourself: As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Nothing could be closer to the truth, but before you can begin this process of transformation you have to stop doing the things that have been holding you back. Here are some ideas to get you started:
  1. Stop spending time with the wrong people. – Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you. If someone wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you. You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot. Never, ever insist yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth. Remember, it’s not the people that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who stand beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.
  2. Stop running from your problems. – Face them head on. No, it won’t be easy. There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them. We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems. That’s not how we’re made. In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall, because that’s the whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the course of time. This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
  3. Stop lying to yourself. – You can lie to anyone else in the world, but you can’t lie to yourself. Our lives improve only when we take chances, and the first and most difficult chance we can take is to be honest with ourselves.
  4. Stop putting your own needs on the back burner. – The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too. Yes, help others; but help yourself too. If there was ever a moment to follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
  5. Stop trying to be someone you’re not. – One of the greatest challenges in life is being yourself in a world that’s trying to make you like everyone else. Someone will always be prettier, someone will always be smarter, someone will always be younger, but they will never be you. Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the right people will love the real you.
  6. Stop trying to hold onto the past. – You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one.
  7. Stop being scared to make a mistake. – Doing something and getting it wrong is at least ten times more productive than doing nothing. Every success has a trail of failures behind it, and every failure is leading towards success. You end up regretting the things you did NOT do far more than the things you did.
  8. Stop berating yourself for old mistakes. – We may love the wrong person and cry about the wrong things, but no matter how things go wrong, one thing is for sure, mistakes help us find the person and things that are right for us. we all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past, but you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come.
  9. stop trying to buy happiness. – many of the things we desire are expensive, but the truth is, the things that really satisfy us are totally free – love, laughter and working on our passions.
  10. Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness. – If you’re not happy with who you are on the inside, you won’t be happy in a long-term relationship with anyone else either. You have to create stability in your own life first before you can share it with someone else.
  11. Stop being idle. – Don’t think too much or you’ll create a problem that wasn’t even there in the first place. evaluate situations and take decisive action. You cannot change what you refuse to confront. making progress involves risk. period! You can’t make it to second base with your foot on first.
  12. Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
  13. Stop getting involved in relationships for the wrong reasons. – Relationships must be chosen wisely. it’s better to be alone than to be in bad company. there’s no need to rush. If something is meant to be, it will happen – in the right time, with the right person, and for the best reason. Fall in love when you’re ready, not when you’re lonely.
  14. Stop rejecting new relationships just because old ones didn’t work. – In life you’ll realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. some will test you, some will use you and some will teach you, but most importantly, some will bring out the best in you.
  15. Stop trying to compete against everyone else. – Don’t worry about what others doing better than you. concentrate on beating your own records every day. success is a battle between YOU and YOURSELF only.
  16. Stop being jealous of others. – Jealousy is the art of counting someone else’s blessings instead of your own. Ask yourself this: “what’s something i have that everyone wants?”
  17. Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. – Life’s curveballs are thrown for a reason – to shift your path in a direction that is meant for you. You may not see or understand everything the moment it happens, and it may be tough, but reflect back on those negative curveballs thrown at you in the past. You’ll often see that eventually they led you to a better place, person, state of mind, or situation. so smile! Let everyone know that today you are a lot stronger than you were yesterday, and you will be.
  18. Stop holding grudges. – Don’t live your life with hate in your heart. You will end up hurting yourself more than the people you hate. Forgiveness is not saying, “what you did to me is okay.” It is saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my happiness forever.” forgiveness is the answer… let go, find peace, liberate yourself! and remember, forgiveness is not just for other people, it’s for you too. If you must, forgive yourself, move on and try to do better next time.
  19. Stop letting others bring you down to their level. – Refuse to lower your standards to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs.
  20. Stop wasting time explaining yourself to others. – Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it anyway. Just do what you know in your heart is right.
  21. Stop doing the same things over and over without taking a break. – The time to take a deep breath is when you don’t have time for it. If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re getting. Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly.
  22. Stop overlooking the beauty of small moments. – Enjoy the little things, because one day you may look back and discover they were the big things. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.
  23. Stop trying to make things perfect. – The real world doesn’t reward perfectionists, it rewards people who get things done.
  24. Stop following the path of least resistance. – Life is not easy, especially when you plan on achieving something worthwhile. Don’t take the easy way out. do something extraordinary.
  25. Stop acting like everything is fine if it isn’t. – It’s okay to fall apart for a little while. You don’t always have to pretend to be strong, and there is no need to constantly prove that everything is going well. You shouldn’t be concerned with what other people are thinking either – cry if you need to – it’s healthy to shed your tears. The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.
  26. Stop blaming others for your troubles. – The extent to which you can achieve your dreams depends on the extent to which you take responsibility for your life. When you blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility – you give others power over that part of your life.
  27. Stop trying to be everything to everyone. – Doing so is impossible, and trying will only burn you out, but making one person smile CAN change the world. maybe not the whole world, but their world. so narrow your focus.
  28. Stop worrying so much. – Worry will not strip tomorrow of its burdens, it will strip today of its joy. one way to check if something is worth mulling over is to ask yourself this question: “will this matter in one year’s time? three years? five years?” if not, then it’s not worth worrying about.
  29. Stop focusing on what you don’t want to happen. – Focus on what you do want to happen. positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story. If you awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right.
  30. Stop being ungrateful. – No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs. instead of thinking about what you’re missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.

Top 10 Relationship Words that aren't translatable in English

(compiled by Pamela Haag at BigThink)
  1. Mamihlapinatapei (Yagan, an indigenous language of Tierra del Fuego): The wordless yet meaningful look shared by two people who desire to initiate something, but are both reluctant to start. Oh yes, this is an exquisite word, compressing a thrilling and scary relationship moment. It’s that delicious, cusp-y moment of imminent seduction. Neither of you has mustered the courage to make a move, yet. Hands haven’t been placed on knees; you’ve not kissed. But you’ve both conveyed enough to know that it will happen soon… very soon.
  2. Yuanfen (Chinese): A relationship by fate or destiny. This is a complex concept. It draws on principles of predetermination in Chinese culture, which dictate relationships, encounters and affinities, mostly among lovers and friends. From what I glean, in common usage yuanfen means the “binding force” that links two people together in any relationship. But interestingly, “fate” isn’t the same thing as “destiny.” Even if lovers are fated to find each other they may not end up together. The proverb, “have fate without destiny,” describes couples who meet, but who don’t stay together, for whatever reason. It’s interesting, to distinguish in love between the fated and the destined. Romantic comedies, of course, confound the two.
  3. Cafuné (Brazilian Portuguese): The act of tenderly running your fingers through someone’s hair.
  4. Retrouvailles (French):  The happiness of meeting again after a long time. This is such a basic concept, and so familiar to the growing ranks of commuter relationships, or to a relationship of lovers, who see each other only periodically for intense bursts of pleasure. I’m surprised we don’t have any equivalent word for this subset of relationship bliss. It’s a handy one for modern life.
  5. Ilunga (Bantu): A person who is willing to forgive abuse the first time; tolerate it the second time, but never a third time.Apparently, in 2004, this word won the award as the world’s most difficult to translate. Although at first, I thought it did have a clear phrase equivalent in English: It’s the “three strikes and you’re out” policy. But ilunga conveys a subtler concept, because the feelings are different with each “strike.” The word elegantly conveys the progression toward intolerance, and the different shades of emotion that we feel at each stop along the way.
    I
lunga captures what I’ve described as the shade of gray complexity in marriages—Not abusive marriages, but marriages that involve infidelity, for example.  We’ve got tolerance, within reason, and we’ve got gradations of tolerance, and for different reasons. And then, we have our limit. The English language to describe this state of limits and tolerance flattens out the complexity into black and white, or binary code. You put up with it, or you don’t.  You “stick it out,” or not.Ilunga restores the gray scale, where many of us at least occasionally find ourselves in relationships, trying to love imperfect people who’ve failed us and whom we ourselves have failed.
  6. La Douleur Exquise (French): The heart-wrenching pain of wanting someone you can’t have. When I came across this word I thought of “unrequited” love. It’s not quite the same, though. “Unrequited love” describes a relationship state, but not a state of mind. Unrequited love encompasses the lover who isn’t reciprocating, as well as the lover who desires. La douleur exquise gets at the emotional heartache, specifically, of being the one whose love is unreciprocated.
  7. Koi No Yokan (Japanese): The sense upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall into love. This is different than “love at first sight,” since it implies that you might have a sense of imminent love, somewhere down the road, without yet feeling it. The term captures the intimation of inevitable love in the future, rather than the instant attraction implied by love at first sight.
  8. Ya’aburnee (Arabic): “You bury me.” It’s a declaration of one’s hope that they’ll die before another person, because of how difficult it would be to live without them. The online dictionary that lists this word calls it “morbid and beautiful.” It’s the “How Could I Live Without You?” slickly insincere cliché of dating, polished into a more earnest, poetic term.
  9. Forelsket: (Norwegian):  The euphoria you experience when you’re first falling in love. This is a wonderful term for that blissful state, when all your senses are acute for the beloved, the pins and needles thrill of the novelty. There’s a phrase in English for this, but it’s clunky. It’s “New Relationship Energy,” or NRE.
  10. Saudade (Portuguese): The feeling of longing for someone that you love and is lost. Another linguist describes it as a “vague and constant desire for something that does not and probably cannot exist.”It’s interesting that saudade accommodates in one word the haunting desire for a lost love, or for an imaginary, impossible, never-to-be-experienced love. Whether the object has been lost or will never exist, it feels the same to the seeker, and leaves her in the same place:  She has a desire with no future. Saudade doesn’t distinguish between a ghost, and a fantasy. Nor do our broken hearts, much of the time.

THE BURIED LIFE: 20 Things I Should Have Known at 20.

1. The world is trying to keep you stupid. From bank fees to interest rates to miracle diets, people who are not educated are easier to get money from and easier to lead. Educate yourself as much as possible for wealth, independence, and happiness.

2. Do not have faith in institutions to educate you. By the time they build the curriculum, it’s likely that the system is outdated– sometimes utterly broken. You both learn and get respect from people worth getting it from by leading and doing, not by following.

3. Read as much as you can. Learn to speed read with high retention. Emerson Spartz taught me this while I was at a Summit Series event. If he reads 2-3 books a week, you can read one.

4. Connect with everyone, all the time. Be genuine about it. Learn to find something you like in each person, and then speak to that thing.

5. Don’t waste time being shy. Shyness is the belief that your emotions should be the arbitrators of your decision making process when the opposite is actually true.

6. If you feel weird about something during a relationship, that’s usually what you end up breaking up over.

7. Have as much contact as possible with older people. Personally, I met people at Podcamps. My friend Greg, at the age of 13, met his first future employer sitting next to him on a plane. The reason this is so valuable is because people your age don’t usually have the decision-making ability to help you very much. Also they know almost everything you will learn later, so ask them.

8. Find people that are cooler than you and hang out with them too. This and the corollary are both important: “don’t attempt to be average inside your group. Continuously attempt to be cooler than them (by doing cooler things, being more laid back, accepting, ambitious, etc.).”

9. You will become more conservative over time. This is just a fact. Those you surround yourself with create a kind of “bubble” that pushes you to support the status quo. For this reason, you need to do your craziest stuff NOW. Later on, you’ll become too afraid. Trust me.

10. Reduce all expenses as much as possible. I mean it. This creates a safety net that will allow you to do the crazier shit I mentioned above.

11. Instead of getting status through objects (which provide only temporary boosts), do it through experiences. In other words, a trip to Paris is a better choice than a new wardrobe. Studies show this also boosts happiness.

12. While you are living on the cheap, solve the money problem. Use the internet, because it’s like a cool little machine that helps you do your bidding. If you are currently living paycheck to paycheck, extend that to three weeks instead of two. Then, as you get better, you can think a month ahead, then three months, then six, and finally a year ahead. (The goal is to get to a point where you are thinking 5 years ahead.)

13. Learn to program.

14. Get a six-pack (or get thin, whatever your goal is) while you are young. Your hormones are in a better place to help you do this at a younger age. Don’t waste this opportunity, trust me.

15. Learn to cook. This will make everything much easier and it turns food from a chore + expensive habit into a pleasant + frugal one. I’m a big Jamie Oliver fan, but whatever you like is fine.

16. Sleep well. This and cooking will help with the six pack. If you think “I can sleep when I’m dead” or “I have too much to do to sleep,” I have news for you: you are INEFFICIENT, and sleep deprivation isn’t helping.

17. Get a reminder app for everything. Do not trust your own brain for your memory. Do not trust it for what you “feel like” you should be doing. Trust only the reminder app. I use RE.minder and Action Method.

18. Choose something huge to do, as well as allowing the waves of opportunity to help you along. If you don’t set goals, some stuff may happen, but if you do choose, lots more will.

19. Get known for one thing. Spend like 5 years doing it instead of flopping around all over the place. If you want to shift afterwards, go ahead. Like I said, choose something.

20. Don’t try to “fix” anyone. Instead, look for someone who isn’t broken.

Summer Ender ♥
by: Ann Bernadette Pascua

It was great spending two of my last days of summer with my highschool friends. Because everytime school begins, time becomes too complicated.
From left: Joy, Amor, Kang, Jel, Danica, Jeah, Khara, Bur, Nikki and Alec
15 came including Malig, Kate, Mikee, Cherie and Mark (not in the picture)
It was a night-swimming at Filinvest East Homes.

And a sleepover at the huge house of Amor’s grandparents.
We were up till 6 am. Gah. They’re unbelievably awesome. It’s been a long night and I heard a lot. A lot of scary, funny, heartbreaking, sad and memorable issues and controversies. Haha. Everybody was so happy and I loved it. We were forced to get up by 9 am. Yes I woke up with a headache, but who cares? Waking up with the people who’ve been with me for so many years, it’s really one of the best feelings in life.

SUCH A GLUTTON ☻ 4th part

Taking Ate Vena's and Mikee's advice on trying Sunrise Buckets, we did! =))
I didn't eat chicken for the whole week just to eat here with Khara 'cause she knows about my allergy and for sure she wouldn't allow me to eat here if that's the case. We ordered one bucket of chicken wings which I forgot the flavors since the chicken was totally amazing! There are so many chicken wings and I can't believe that we were able to finish all of them! My tummy really hurts after, my allergy says Hi on my nape. HAHA! But who cares? I've tasted one of the best chickens ever! We were even using our hands while eating. But covered with plastic gloves of course :)
I'm really looking forward of bringing my other friends here. It's worth a try =))

She knows me well and she knows how crazy I am in terms of eating pasta. I go gaga over it. HAHA
She wants me to try her favorite, Spaghetti ala Lasagna by Dulcinea  =)))
What can I say? This spaghetti beats Jollibee's Spaghetti. It may look cheap, but really that's my favorite before I came across this Spaghetti ala Lasagna.
Hahaha! And I want more but it's too hot for me to handle. Literally, too hot. :D

We're almost leaving Greenhills when I saw Mary Grace and I suddenly craved for their Lemon Square =))
It's been a while since my last intake of Lemon Squares!
So I decided to buy 8pcs. for my pasalubong to Mama and Joem.
I really thought they would like it since we love citrus taste, but not.
They said it was too sour. Khara said we have different taste buds. HAHAHA!
What a comforting advice from a dear friend :D

I'm too excited of going to the newly-built Robinson's Magnolia and what? Most of the stores were still under construction. HAHA So sad :| But we found something so colorful!
Masatami Shaved Ice similar to snow cones but better! Since it is full of flavors and colors. HAHA!
I'm a visual learner so yeah I'm enjoying eating this. HAHA
I actually don't know the flavors but each color tastes different!
And I want more of this! And try new flavors for more colors! :D Nomnom!

I don't want to go home yet, she either. So being a spoiled brat, we went to Mom and Tina's.
We have our snacks here. They cater more on pastries which we really love. I ordered Banoffee Pie while Khara ordered Apple Pie to taste if it's delicious like her mom's. Luckily, all went well. The food was great! It satisfied our cravings for sweets ♥ I want to try their cupcakes next time! :)

SUCH A GLUTTON ☻ 3rd part

It's a Mother-Daughter Shopping Day when our relatives texted my mom that they were outside our house. To my mom's surprise, they said they'll just go with us. So unfortunately, we shopped as fast as we could 'cause my mom doesn't want to spend more for them. We ended up eating at Pizza HutOf course my primadonna teeth can't eat pizza, I have my Lasagna =)) Oh well, how I miss Khara's Mom's Lasagna.
That was the most delicious Lasagna I ever tasted. NOMNOM! I'm craving!

It's September 21. Here in the Philippines, this date was very significant. It was the day that former president, Ferdinand Marcos declared martial law. But let's not revisit that History lesson I've learned in Grade School. It's Maan's 20th Birthday! And she treats us at Qizia
Of course, I always have my lovely spaghetti! =))
Unfortunately I have a class by 2pm so we left early. For semestral break we're planning to do some food trips along Lilac Street. I'm really excited and looking forward to that! :)

'Cause I said I'm on a diet, I'm not eating much meat. I'm into fish now. =))
hihi. Reyes Barbeque is one of the best restaurant in terms of grilling. Like you can see them grilling it in front of you. Truly fresh and delicious! :) Though their Java rice doesn't really have a taste, the grilled milk fish does the final work. *Burp! :D

Kung Hei Fat Choi! It's Chinese New Year! And we're spending it with a not-so-Chinese-looking person.
Hi Khara =)) HAHAHA This place was just across her house. It's Ristras Mexican GrillThey offer the biggest burrito I've ever seen here in the Philippines. The flavors was really amazing and no Mexican Restau can beat them! Everything was so-Mexican! =))) I want my parents to taste their food. Even though they're not into those kinds of spices for sure they'll love it! It's LEGIT MEXICANO! :)

As a Filipina, we love foods with "-log". Tapsilog, Tocilog, Bangsilog, Longsilog, Hamsilog, Baconsilog etc.
But what I really don't enjoy eating was Tapsilog. It's tapa (beef cut into thin slices) with sunny side-up egg. Why? It accumulates too much oil and if it's cold aleady you can feel the oil passing through your throat every time you're swallowing. But this Tapsilog from Rodic's Food Express at the University of the Philippines was an exception. Their Tapsilog was amazing! Also the vinegar we use as sauce really complements with everything! I even crave for that vinegar once in a while. Weird right?
Yea, I'm weird. Hug that.

Being a Thomasian, it's normal going to Shakey's  once in a while.
If you're rich and you can treat your friends then go! We're lucky we have PJ as our friend. HAHA
And if I remembered correctly this was the day I knew that I failed Neuroanatomy. This was the day my world, heart, dreams, plans, everything shattered into pieces. That one subject keep me away from my batchmates. Yes, I was delayed in college. I repeat my Junior year 'cause I have to take Neuroanatomy again. I cried so hard that my friends don't know what to do. They said I was like having an Asthma-attack. Yes, I really can't breathe. The feeling's like it's December 21, 2012.
But I'm a strong, revengeful person. It's bad I know but that's my motivation.
I promise this day that everything will changed. Everything....

It's our honor to be invited in this prestigious hotel restaurant, Spices Cafe.
We have our free buffet breakfast here when we stayed in Singapore. The food was really amazing. Feels like I'm also traveling to different countries since their concept was international cuisines. Since my father works in the Middle East for almost 17 years, he learned to love their food and shared it to us. It was not okay for me actually but at least edible. HAHA I really love the first morning we ate here. American Buffet was the theme and I was really really really full after! =))) So much about carbs honey!

While walking along Orchard Road, we came across this ice cream stall, Stickhouse.
Just like normal popsicle ice cream here in the Philippines but this cost more and creamier. It's actually good but I don't think that the price is reasonable. Overpriced ang peg? Noooooo. HAHA
Oh well, that is Singapore! Everything there is expensive :D

Another birthday celebration! It's Joy's birthday! :)
Celebrating this special day with my College friends was already normal. We love eating together. Sharing each other's dumb stories during High School and of course revealing some secrets no other college classmate would have known.
How I miss these days, when Nelica was still in UST, when Den's hair and mine are still long, when Nina has that Dora-look, when Abby's mouth was ultimately unstoppable and when everyone's craziness was about frogs, cats, shark, turtle and pigeons.
Yes, I miss being 17 :)

SUCH A GLUTTON ☻ 2nd Part

This is a Rock Salt drink from Happy Lemon :)
Khara introduced this drink to me. At first, I was not really into it 'cause I kinda have lactose-intolerance.
Well, but they said that if you get  used in digesting them you'll be fine, and now I'm already enjoying this :)
Though, this practice will never be effective for my seafoods and poultry allergies.
Damn those enzymes which my stomach doesn't have. I can't enjoy food that much like others.
Oh well, I actually could but for sure I will be lying on a hospital bed will be the next thing I'll remember.

Souvenir from Cyril's 1st Birthday ♥ Red Velvet Cupcakes from Happy Thoughts
The cupcake was really delicious and I really love red velvet cupcakes.
Though the fondant really sucks. HAHA I feel nauseous when I placed them in my mouth.
It's really gross. Hope they can improve on the quality of fondant they are using.
It should be edible but this one tastes like plastic.
(I don't eat plastic, I just say so. HAHA)

They are my Grade School Best Friends! ♥
Can you believe it? We're still close!
I know we're miles apart since Hann moved to Australia with her family, and almost lost contact with Ces since she transfered to a more prestige school than our "all-girls" school.
And now I think that we are inseparable. This means love ♥
So this is our first out-of-town when Hann went back to the Philippines. We went to an amusement park in Sta. Rosa, Laguna a.k.a. Enchanted Kingdom and have snacks at Ice Monster cause we can't really eat that much since we risk our lives riding on its most extreme rides. We rode EK-Streme. And hell yeah, really it is extreme. My soul, heart and every inch of me were left above when the ride suddenly dropped us.
Tangina lang this ride. HAHAHA

Old memories lasts. This is really old
My one and only College Friends goes to SM Manila. If I remembered correctly it was PJ's birthday :)
 We ate in Kenny Roger's!
(PJ, Nelica, Jose, Joshua, Bee, me, Abby, Kim, Joy, Nina, Gian, Porsche, Zette, AJ)
Hope to be with you again with complete attendance
We walked our different paths but I know we all have each other in our hearts. Btw, this picture was taken when we were in our Freshmen year college and now, we're Seniors. During this time we're all taking up BS Occupational Therapy at the University of Santo Tomas. What now? We have "our" own lives. Some transfered to other schools, some stayed, some got delayed(count me here). The course wasn't easy at all. Sleepless nights and gallons of coffee were normal  nowadays. HAHA We might look like zombies going to class but having them will never make you wanna give up =))

Yes, I'm a proud officer of the Occupational Therapy Society for 3 years now.
In this picture I was the org's treasurer. But I'm not corrupt don't worry =))
This was taken last year when our college was celebrating its college week.
Ate Vena, me, Redd and Bea are the people in this picture.
Ate Vena was our super strong, firm yet sweet and understanding president :)
As a reward for the success of the OTSoc's projects during the College Week, she bought 2 dozens of Krispy Kreme donut for all the officers! :)
Thank you Ate Vena for teaching us the things you've learned not just about academics and org stuffs but also about life in particular. You're a strong woman and a lovely lady. We love you! ♥

With our longest family friend! :) The Ang Family ♥
We usually eat outside when my Papa is here. This was taken in Luyong Restaurant.
My prep friend, Angela was always with me since the day began but we never became classmates or even best friends. Haha! But still I am thankful for her :) Hoping to have more dinner dates with them! No dull moments forever =)) Full of gossips. HAHAHA XD

How can someone miss the magic of the best fast food chain in the world?
Hello Mcdonald's!
I remembered when I was in High School when we almost spent all of our allowance everyday for Mcdo fries and Coke Float. That saved our hungry tummy from the stressful practices of different contests and projects due the day after. I will be forever a Mcdo kiddo even though I love Jollibee's Spaghetti more. Nothing can beat the fries of Mcdo, esp. Twister Fries! :) LOL

There were things we did together and most of them were my first time :)
We ate at Mexicali
And I love that Chicken Wings I ordered! I know I can't indulge myself in too much chicken but I really love theirs. Also I tried their Quesadillas which we're also delicious.
This was actually the fist time I ate in a Mexican Restaurant.
One thing I can say: No regrets! Just Love. ♥

And milk teas became too mainstream, so are we.
At Moonleaf Teashop near our place with my Gradeschool Bestfriends :)
We spent this whole day together from eating lunch at Tokyo Tokyo, haircut at Azta and now chilling at this Teashop. =)) I ordered my favorite Peppermint Milktea which they said was a disgusting drink. Actually it's not.=)) I maybe enjoy the scent and taste similar with Mentos candy or should I say it smells like formalin. HAHAHA Yes I know that scent since I took Anatomy class in my Junior year in college. And I also dissected cadavers. May sound gross-some but it's really enjoying. It's something not everyone can experience =))

Another date with Ang Family at Pan de Amerikana :)
I really love the concept of this place. Seems like old American style with Greek pillars at its stage.
But what catches attention from costumers is their gigantic chess pieces and you could actually play with it. Unless there are no cute kids playing with you too. HAHA
The food was also amazing :)
Can't wait for our next visit!

SUCH A GLUTTON ☻ 1st Part

May 14-16, 2012. Our first family out of the country trip. Hello Singapore! =)) Though I'm not really in spicy foods, I enjoyed their delicacies. Oh well, we'll never know if I can ever get back to this lovely, green city :) We've tried Iranian, Japanese, Korean, Haianese and of course, Singaporean foods ♥ This food stall is a minute walk away from Concorde Hotel where we stayed.60's Old Street is like Dampa here in the Philippines. You can choose different kinds of seafoods straight from the aquarium :D I'm really looking forward of going back in this City of Lion ♥

Med is Cool! :D Faculty of Medicine celebrated their college week, so sharing the same building gave us the privilege to enjoy it with them. One of their sponsors, BTIC or Better Than Ice Cream called everybody's attention by giving a 50% off. Knowing it's original and luxurious price, everyone grabbed this experience! I had my Strawberry Frozen Yogurt! :D

Just a random afternoon when my brother and I craved for pizza. HAHAHAHA XD It's really weird for us since we are not pizza fans :D Luckily, a near-by pizzaderia saved our cravings! Try Biaño's Pizzaderia! It's so cheap. HAHAHA Thanks to the newly built commercial building near our place. :D Though, it was too hard for me 'cause of my newly-adjusted braces I still managed =)) My mom even suggested to use the blender so it'll be easier for me. Not really sure if she's insulting or helping me. The good thing is I also bought a Coffee Jelly Milk Tea from NaiCha ♥ Not as good as other milk tea but tolerable :)

I know I can't eat chicken for more than one in a week but c'mon! This is BonChon! I've been hearing positive feedbacks from my friends about their chicken :D This is my first time in BonChon at Promenade. I am with Khara, Jel and Steph.=))) I just love the craziness of these people I am with.Hope we can do this again! =))) We should conquer our busy schedules.. :|
